About LEAF Awards
LEAF Awards，欧洲杰出建筑师论坛大奖（The Leading EuropeanArchitects Forum Awards)，又称绿叶奖,是国际建筑设计领域最高级别的奖项之一，历年多数入围项目来自杰出的国内外建筑机构，同时评委会由全球知名建筑师、艺术家等行业精英组成，共同决选出世界最具创新性的建筑项目。
英国时间10月14日，第十九届欧洲杰出建筑师论坛大奖（LEAF Awards）在英国伦敦举行颁奖晚宴盛典。主办方收到了创纪录数量且高质量的国际参赛和推荐作品，参赛作品来自全球各地，包括英国、美国、日本、中国、印度、澳大利亚、韩国，还有欧洲各国等。入围项目来自多家杰出的设计机构，包括5+Design, Zaha Hadid, SOM, UN Studio, Aedas, Yazgan Design，Nikken Space等。
该奖项包含了过去24个月里最优秀的国际新建筑设计项目，由于疫情原因，2020与2021两届合并，竞争异常激烈。本届赛事总计入围作品78个，最终遴选出18个项目大奖，其中中国团队斩获6个。同时获得大奖的还有NIKKEN SEKKEI LTD、Zaha Hadid Architects、MAD Architects等多家知名设计机构。

中国美术学院风景建筑设计研究总院有限公司青创中心PLAY Architects设计的作品【嘉兴老建委驿站】(City Lounge of Zhongshan Road,Jiaxing) 在诸多入围作品中脱颖而出，荣获了LEAF Awards 2020/2021最佳艺术&文化建筑项目类别（Best Arts & Culture Building Project）年度最佳大奖。

ORIGINAL SPEECH
大家晚上好！
作为中国美术学院这样大型设计机构旗下的一份子，我很自豪能够获得该项殊荣。
能够赢得这项宝贵的荣誉，离不开本土建筑学教育的改革和发展，以及在中国拥有大量实践机会的锤炼。当然，作为青年建筑师，更需要积极应对各种挑战的乐观心态和克服各种困难的坚韧精神。
在中国难以置信的城市化进程中，产生了大量的碎片空间。嘉兴老建委驿站这个项目，试图激活这种“边角料”，以“大树底下好乘凉”的姿态介入场地的复杂环境，唤起人们的记忆，服务于周边市民，成为值得留恋的“老街头”。
在此，我特别感谢地方政府的决心和高效，感谢设计团队、施工团队的坚持和付出，最终让这个建筑得以完美的呈现。

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen！
As a professional design studio under the China Academy of Art, we are delighted and honoured to have received this award.
Receiving this prestigious award is inseparable from developing architecture teaching in local universities and having the chance to put our skills to use and build our professional experience through variable practical learning opportunities in China. Nevertheless, as young architects, we need to learn to optimistically solve problems, address stiff challenges and knock down obstacles across all industries.
During the astonishing urbanization process in China, space pattern becomes more and more fractures. The City Lounge of Zhongshan Road project attempts to activate these urban debris spaces. The building intervenes in the complex environment of the site with the entry point of "A good tree is a good shelter". Recall the neighbourhood's unforgettable childhood fun in the surrounding communities and a nostalgic "Old street in memory".
Last but not least, I am very appreciative to the local government for their reliable determination and productivity. The design team and the construction team are a real credit to the project. This project cannot be beautifully completed without their patience, persistence, and dedication.
